Glossybox #3

the new glossybox arrived and it’s so far my favorite! i don’t have to mention that i love essie, right? with mint candy apple my collection has been extended to a pretty good number. the kiehl’s dark spot solution has been a product i’ve always wanted to try. i hate those dark parts around my eyes and i hope this will work!

the maria galland lip gloss looks wonderful, but the color doesn’t really work for me. the formula is a little too thick and the color too light for my lips.

i still haven’t tried joico’s hair treatment and rau cosmetics day care, but i will keep you updated on how i like those products!

NEW IN: PAUL MITCHELL

a few days ago i got some new additions to my paul mitchell hair care collection. i’ve been a fan of their products for a long time. not only because their smoothing/skinny products work wonders on my really thick, stubborn hair – also because paul mitchells company history is the most inspiring. with a budget of only 700 $ the two friends launched their first line and always followed their vision to lead a company, that is not driven my corporate greed, but by the vision to sell products that are not tested on animals and affordable, but great in quality.
now i’m off to wash my hair with this beautiful stuff and go on, and on, and on about how much i love it 🙂
The whole collection: Super Skinny Serum, Gloss Drops, Super Skinny Daily Treatment, Seal and Shine Spray, Awapuhi Shampoo

Glossybox #2

yaaaaaay, another glossybox! this time the box was fully packed with goodies. it seemed like this edition was three times heavier than the previous ones. the following 5 products were inside:
1. Artdeco eyeshadow
2. Avène thermal spray
3. Korres Natural Products showergel
4. Saint Charles bath salt
5. Schwarzkopf Professional BC oil
6. Tiroler Nussöl sunblock
my favorites are definitely the hair oild and the bath salt! what would be your favorite?

beautified

two weeks ago l’orĂ©al invited a few journalists and bloggers to a very special event. at the l’orĂ©al academy in vienna, two new products by kĂ©rastase and helena rubinstein were introduced. but not in a boring, regular way! we got a suuuuper fine facial and hair treatment accompanied by 12munchies food.
helena rubinstein introduced hydra collagenist and their prodigy powercell eye urgency SOS patches to us. it was so nice to just sit back, relax and let the crazy science behing those products do their work. honestly: i felt like a BABY after. after getting our hair done we also got a professional make-up by helena rubinsteins make-up artists.
then kĂ©rastase showed us their brand new series cristalliste. the line is perfect for hair like mine: long and thick. the products are simply amazing. there’s two shampoos (one for thin, one for thick hair), a conditioner and a serum, which beats it all. it’s the best serum i’ve ever used – it really makes your hair look like a diamond. it’s not as thick as other serums and really smooth, easy to use.
thank you so much for this great afternoon!

WELCOME, ESSIE!

oooooh essie! i have been in love with essie nail polishes ever since i studied abroad in the US and i was able to buy them at target. i have really missed essie in austria and also the fact that there aren’t any “real” nail polishes available in regular drug stores. but finally essie is coming to austria! as a start-off i received this wonderful essie box holding 8 shades, representing the entire collection. my favorites are watermelon, lilacism, chinchilly and lapiz of luxury.

the essie collection will consist of 70 different shades and be available at BIPA and some DM stores starting in may.
what are your favorite essie colors?
