once again, just like with my audreys,  it was carolina engman who inspired me for this outfit. after seeing her wearing a camel coat paired with some simple items i immediately fell in love. i do own an old burberry trench but i was looking for a bolder, “woolier” version. and then, when i expected it the least, i found it. where? in my mom’s basement. it happened like this:
mum: “there’s this coat i own and i never wear it.”
me: (yawning) “okay…”
mum: “i bought it a while ago and it’s always been in the basement” (takes out coat)
me: fainting.

als ich noch zur schule ging wollte ich IMMER eine schuluniform besitzen. nicht bloß harry potter oder das kinderbuch rund um madeline waren schuld – auch mein frühes interesse an mode. ich war schon immer großer fan von faltenröcken, blusen und gedeckten farben. heute trage ich die moderne reinterpretation meines unerfüllten schuluniform traums – dafür ist man nämlich nie zu alt.

ihr wisst ich bin ein riesen fan von ganz simplen outfits, die aber nach “etwas” aussehen. ein lockerer boyfriend coat, slim jeans und ballerinas – works every time!

ich weiß, ich weiß. das ist bestimmt nicht mein modischstes outfit. aber nachdem ich mir bei diesem post fast eine lungenentzündung geholt habe, sehe ich es eher weniger ein sommerliche outfits im winter zu posten! als person der generell IMMER kalt ist, packe ich mich bei jedem schritt aus dem haus wirklich extrem ein: zwiebelschichten it is.

i know, i know. this isn’t my most fashionable outfit ever. but hey: after almost freezing to death shooting this post i refuse to shoot summerly outfits when it’s below zero degrees outside. as a person than is ALWAYS cold, i really bundle up in winter every time i step outside the door. layers, layers, layers – that’s what’s on at the moment.
