LOST IN TIME

Traveling I haven’t had much time for blogging, especially without bringing my laptop. I am spending my last days in India and cant wait to show you all the photos! Meanwhile I found an old post from last year in fall, that I totally forgot to publish (wearing non fair fashion clothes!). Thinking of going back to all-brunette, no more ombre. What do you say?

MOSCHINO LOVE

right after i finished university i milan, i had the honor to assist the most amazing luca finotti on a set for a shoot for moschino. not only has it been one of the most interesting work experiences i have ever had, also i became the biggest moschino fan. all the moschino staff on the set was so incredibly nice, humble and friendly – not at all what you’d expect people from “high street fashion” to be (and what a lot of them aren’t). even the chief menswear designer helped like everyone else did, without taking himself too serious or special. moschino still produces a lot of their products in italy or the rest of europe. like many stella mccartney items, this bag was also produced in hungary, austria’s next door neighbors! i have wanted it for such, such a long time and feel so lucky to finally own it: it’s perfectly sized, the perfect mixture of clean but playful and of incredible quality!

BITTERSWEET

this saturday was the last day the boy and i were able to spend together, as we’ll be separated for a whole month, with him having to finish some projects in milan and me going to india for three weeks. yesterday we decided to celebrate our own little christmas day. starting with sushi brunch at unkai, we then headed to naschmarkt for a glass of wine in the sun and to get some fresh fish for dinner. we celebrated our pre-christmas together at home cooking, drinking champaign (thanks to vicky for the advice) and cuddling up in front of the baby tree we got. do you know these bittersweet moments, where all is filled with joy and pleasure, but it’s so painful at the same time?
oh, and how could i not mention the bag, that i have been wanting for so long and finally got (second hand, for all of you who thought i won the lottery!). welcome, céline cabas. you’re the most beautiful thing i own.

FAIR TRADE CASHMERE
