still impressed by dior’s golden jungle collection they now managed to impress me even more. a new nude collection that blows my mind. i am a big fan of “less is more” when it comes to make-up. the fluid make-up contains of mostly water and gives your skin a really healthy feel. the compact powder comes with a sponge and with a brush, that make it so perfect to work with. the entire collection just amazes me with the incredible natural glow it gives. also i really love the nude nail polish, i’ve been looking for one like it in a long time since i ALWAYS wear nail polish, but have never found a lighter one that still covers well. making the nude look perfect: a silky soft hint of color on the lips…

by far the most beautiful collection dior has sent out so far. the colors are just FREAKING AMAZING. my favs are the nail polishes: vernis or is a metallic gold polish, that looks so damn glamorous – no special outfit needed. but then: THE CROCO TOP COAT. mindblowing. makes every nail polish into a jungle safari experience. both the lipstick and the eyeshadow are kept in a really nude feel, which i definitely what i love going for when it comes to make-up (i am not really the “i’d love to spent one hour in front of the mirror to get ready”- type). golden jungle is like being the fanciest kid in the forrest. i feel cooler than indiana jones.

you know what makes the cool kids on the block the cool kids? THEIR KICKS. (yeah right, i got my gangster dictionary out.) ok, i am going to stop acting like i’m a gangster right now. all i want to say is: i LOVE these shoes. and i feel soooo cool in them. when i am late for work and about to miss the tram, i am like “whatevs, i am gonna do a little morning-sprint and catch that train… dogg.” speaking of dogs: have you noticed this pretty dog gentleman? his name is balu and he’s planing on getting his own blog and do outfit posts every day. yesterday his lovely owner, my beautiful friend julie, decided to do some partner look action and put him on a nice blue scarf. thanks to her i have these beautiful photos of lovely balu and me.
i am reeeeeally thinking of getting another pair of new balance shoes. never wanna take them off again. i got this pair at zalando (who, btw, now also have a swiss website) and they have so many more… i am thinking maybe the light gray ones? which ones would you pick?

welcome 2012! 2011 has been so wonderful. i am so thankful for the lovely people i have around me and i feel very lucky that dariadaria has grown so much in 2011!
yesterday we went to the theatre and then had fondue with some friends. today the bf and me are being really lazy and ordered thai food (my first new years resoltuion: not stopping to eat junk food). feels like the most “grown-up” new years i ever had!
a couple of days ago my nelly order came and I am SO excited about it. the caligo dress by nowhere is a little long for my height, but with the nowhere peek shoes, which i ordered earlier, they make the perfect match. that silver choker was on my must-get-list for a very long time and even though it’s a little sadomaso, i dig it! the snake print clutch goes perfect with my zara blouse, which i got on sale. we’re leaving for our skiing trip soon, so there will be no more high heels city-girl outfits, only skiing gear and moon boots! oh yeah!
