LOST IN TRANSLATION

some lost london images i have forgotten on my memory card. highly attractive people in the streets, crazy accessories, wonderful covent garden and food to die for. get me back there!

POLISHED

thanks to sassoon my desperate cry for a new haircut has finally been heard. visiting one of their london salons i have had probably the best haircut experiences ever.

i HATE spending hours at the hairdresser and then at the end looking a) completely the same or b) horrible. i have finally found a hairdresser that does the job quickly and so beautiful, that i couldn’t be happier. so polished, so perfect.

A PLACE LIKE HOME

three years ago when i started dariadaria i would have never thought that after such a short time i would have been so lucky to travel the globe as a blogger. i have stayed in many hotels over the past year, all of them very impressive in their own way. but this time in london i have had an experience that was very special to me. the nadler soho hasn’t only been my shelter for five nights, but also a little home.

the hotel is in the middle of soho and with rooms starting from 145£ definitely “affordable luxury”. what i loved about it? it’s such a smart hotel! there’s USB plugs, GHD hair dryers, tables that can be transformed into dinner tables and every room has a small kitchen with a coffee machine, fridge and water filter. rather than running a restaurant the hotel supports local businesses and gives advices on where to eat in the area and there’s the possibility to order pastries from a local bakery directly to the room. i love this idea as i never get to fully enjoy the included breakfast in most hotels and it’s still included in the price.

but what impressed me the most about this place is the home-like feel i got. meeting robert nadler, CEO of the nadler hotels, i realized this wasn’t a money making machinery, it’s a family run business made with a lot of love. the hotel supports artist such as hew locke (who did the beautiful sculpture over the entry) or ron diennet. if you’re looking for a stylish, cozy hotel, with great service in a great are – go for the nadler.

LFW APARTMENT DAY 3

never let me leave! even though it’s been raining cats and dogs i have been loving it more and more. it am seriously thinking of sending out some job applications in london – i wanna stay here forever! already practicing a british accent!

yesterday i’ve been fake modeling and it was so much fun, especially running around with that hot smokey eye after all day. i am kind of pushing away the thought to be leaving already tomorrow. boo-hoo.

LFW APARTMENT DAY 2

On my second day with the apartment I decided to spend some hours by myself in the morning, strolling around, having a coffee and cinnamon swirl, enjoying time with myself (best company ever)!in the afternoon i went to see ashish (watch the show here) a pretty nice show, i’d say an 7 out of 10.i’m not a big sequins fan but those from head-to-toe glitter looks were pretty awesome, even more awesome the sequin shopping bags! designers with sense of humour: thumbs up.
today i am actually doing something really cool: modeling for the little black dress lookbook! proof that i’m 100% female: tried to eat healthy today (in the belief to lose 10kg’s before the shoot) but the smell of cinnamon swirls was stronger than my will. touché.
