you might remember this post from 2011 that actually marked my LAST REAL HOLIDAY! apart from the fact that me complaining about not going on a real holiday is a major first world problem, i really do miss the beach and recharging my batteries.

back from a wonderful time at my very own castle. despite the rain i spent such a good time at “schloß stülpe” in the middle of nowhere. thanks to zalando twenty two bloggers from all over europe were invited to this picturesque place an hour away from berlin. the days wethere’s also a video in the making, until then be ready for a photo overload!!

as you might have seen on my instagram, i went back to austria last weekend to be part of the jury of the Kastner & Öhler fashion award. now many of you might not know this name, that represents one of austria’s most beautiful and traditional shopping center chains, which has been celebrating it’s 140th anniversary this year.
the company has been in family hands in the 5th generation by now, which is really rare and impresses me the most, apart from their well selected range of goods. normally i am not the shopping center type of person, but really got into it touring the entire building that was re-renovated a few years back and still contains the typical art elements from it’s first times around 1894. Despite the horrible, horrible weather i had so much fun picking out a winner among the 70 young designers and getting to know the wonderful world of Kastner & Öhler.

best thing after hours and hours of walking and sightseeing? relaxing at the pool! the bf and i enjoyed having a little relaxing time in rome, recharging out batteries for the busy weeks ahead of us.
