if something like sneaker heaven exists then it’s STAB in berlin. located in mitte, they have the most incredible shoe selection ever. i fell in love with those, aren’t they lovely?
traveling
for another trip. berlin for 3 days. can’t wait to see my family and friends, eat ice cream, be lazy and enjoy one of my favorite cities ever. preparing a give-away for next week, so be excited!
i don’t think there’s a need to mention how tempting it is to spend loads and loads of money in london. there’s simply the best vintage stores ever and the selection is just huge. i have to admit that sometimes it is even too much for me and i get overwhelmed and storm out the store without buying anything. (yeah, poor me!) but i still spend hours of looking through things and getting some inspiration. that weekend we went to camden town, stroll through the market with all it’s great food and vintage stalls, brick lane with it’s high quality second hand items and vintage pop up stores and of course the crazyness on oxford street, where i found all my favorites such as UO.
can some one wake me up? pinch me? did it really pass by sooo quickly? am i really back in vienna? three days of london and i am completely gaga in my head. i had such a good time, i can’t stop smiling. it was such a romantic, relaxed, funny, filled-with-amazing-food-and-shopping and inspiring weekend. the best birthday gift ever. seriously.
One thing I don’t like about thrifting? Dusty hands after. I love old things but the fact that you have to dig through loads of moldy, dusty things kills me. The more impressed I was when I found the Mulholland Drive Vintage Shop in Krakow. It’s the most well kept and fanciest second hand store I’ve ever been to. Unfortunately one of the blouses I bought had a little rip on the arm, which I realized after buying it. But other than that I was super impressed by everything and really loved the cute girl by the cash desk.
Another secret spot, a little less posh, is Plac Nowy in the Kazimierz district. It’s a little square with venders that sell jewelry, old bags, clothing but also food and flowers. You can find the most amazing leather goods there!
