i’m an eyewear addict, so when the lovely people from FLEYE offered me a pair of new glasses AND a give-away, i couldn’t say no. some days ago the magic box finally arrived at my home in milan and i was just blown away. a box with 6 brand new pairs of fleye’s special edition glasses. three models, two colors each. after trying them on, i immediately knew: VIDJA is my gal. i would have never thought that i could fall in love with glasses shaped like these. i basically haven’t taken them off ever since i put them on for the first time. i really love them a lot.
one of you lucky readers can also win a pair of fleye’s glasses, including the leather bag that i’ve been carrying around like an obsessed nerd ever since i got it. here’s the very simple guidelines:
half of my facebook news feed has been spammed with cries of sadness and indignation about instagram’s updated privacy policies and terms of use. so i read into it and here’s the facts… as compressed as possible:
1. Instagram can share your information with Facebook (it’s parent company) but also with third parties, meaning affiliates and advertisers.
2. Instagram will be able to use your photos and identity in their advertisements. This means that businesses can pay instagram to have them display your username, likeness, photos etc. without having to compensate you. This means you could end up seeing your face in an advertisement, without even knowing it.
3. Underage users are also included in this “advertising-trap”, which means that with signing up they agree that a parent or guardian is aware that their image can be used in an ad.
4. Furthermore advertisements may not be labeled as such.
