what makes me really happy these days? seeing photos like those from the ellery aw12 campaign. i am not a fan of clean, highly polished fashion photography and these photos are just like walking through an exhibition. each one is fabulous. kym ellery herself actually shot these. you can check out the lookbook here.

now that i have a proper office job i’ve been looking for the perfect spring shoe. normaly i am really not a friend of these baby-mid-heels (it’s neither fish nor fowl!) but metall applications on shoes always make me hit the “add to basket” button.

sweater WE BANDITS / trousers ZARA / shoes NOWHERE
there’s a mystique thing around huge, knitted sweaters. it’s like reversed psychology: the chunkier, the sexier!  if there’s one thing i have learned from fashion (and frankly there’s not a whole lot you can learn from it) it’s that: the bigger, the better! layers, big sweaters and loose fitting clothes are always better than super tight mini skirts. and those chunky sweaters always work. i promise!

my second glossybox has arrived while i was gone for istanbul. i always love opening them, because it really is like getting a present! they’re so nicely wrapped and the colors are always picture perfect. the products this time weren’t as great as last time, which is probably because i can’t use any volume-adding hair products (i already have too much volume going on) and i also don’t use hair spray. my favorite is definitely the issey miyake pocket perfume! all of these goodies were in my box:
