most of you probably know the plastic jil sander bag (if not, click here). there has been a big controversy about it. paying 104 euros for a plastic bag? no thanks. h&m trend brought out a great rip of the bag with their conscious collection. i love it. have a great week!

LEICA FLEA MARKET VIENNA

Leica’s are the ferraris of cameras. One day I will spend a lot of money on a really good Leica… I swear. But until then I have to wait and enjoy other things that the Leica store in Vienna has to offer, such as the flee market! It took place in the courtyard of the Leica shop, which is also the courtyard of Galerie Westlicht, which is probably the best photo gallery in Vienna. They had sooo many really good cameras for incredibly low prices. I do have a shitload of really good and old cameras at home, so I set myself the limit of one. I went for a camera called “Praktica” that was produced in East Germany and used in the DDR. Unfortunately they only had a 135 mm lens, which I don’t like so much, but I’ll see how I like working with it.

I am so obsessed with this bright blue color, I can’t get enough. It’s just such a good mood color. I am having a great weekend! Yesterday I went to see the movie SCHWARZKOPF at Votiv Kino. Being part persian myself and knowing the director, Arman T. Riahi, it was a must-see for me. It’s a really touching movie that is working with very unusual movie elements. You should definitely go and see Schwarzkopf.

Today I went to the Leica flee-market in Westbahnstraße and got something very cool… More about that in my next post.

VIENNAFAIR

Aaaand the award to the biggest peanut brain goes to: ME! Got ready for Viennafair, packed my camera, got all dressed, got picked up by Sophie, drove there, got the tickets, went inside, took my camera out – and – realized I forgot my memory card. Wow. Anyway, the iPhone had to help at that point. So here’s some impressions from Viennafair, which was beyond amazing.

Lina and I took some photos after classes today. We also shot a really cool video, that’ll be up here soon. Spring is so wonderful. Tonight I’ll check out the cocktails by the WU (economic university of vienna) and I can’t wait to go and see VIENNAFAIR, the contemporary artfair tomorrow.
