So some people have aked me about my make-up routine. I have to say that I am really not a pro when it comes to make-up and I have had the same routine over the past years. When I love a product I keep buying it again and again. Now it might seem like I am spending a lot on make-up, but I am good at finding bargains and when there’s a 20 % discount at some stores every year, I buy everything I need to survive for the following months. I think all of the products shown are are self-describing.
Face: I use a Kiehl’s Limited Ultra Facial Moisturizer every night before going to bed. I have very sensitive skin and this lotion is the first that works for me. Except that I only treat my skin with water. I use a creamy foundation, mostly only around the eyes. Then a loose powder and some purple blush, which matches my dark skin.
Eyes: I like nude and brown shades around the eyes. On the weekends sometimes a smokey eye, but too much make-up looks so cheap and I really prefer natural looks. I used to trim my eyebrows too much, now I just let them grow and use a eyebrow pencil, because eyebrows frame your face and it changes the whole look. This Eyeliner from YSL is the best ever, because it’s both an eyeliner and eyeshadow, if you blur it out.
Lips: When it comes to lips there’s really only Chanel for me. I know they’re not cheap, but they will last and last and last. And the colors are just so right.
