salsomaggiore, florence, pisa, chiavari, portofino… just naming a few of the places we visited on our one week roadtrip. on jan 1st we grabbed the car and drove off to a mountain house in salsomaggiore where we spent a wonderful night in front of the chimney with 20 other people. the day after we headed to florence, which is THE most wonderful city i’ve ever seen. after we went to pisa and did some stops by the sea in liguria. we had beers while playing cards, stayed in bed & breakfasts, talked for hours in the car and just enjoyed being free. of course we had loads and loads of food (not to mention that i started trading my jeans for leggings, all that pasts made my jeans pretty tight, oooopsie) and i got to try so many new things. i am not the person for fancy travels, so this gypsie lifestyle with looking for cheap b&b’s and having beers on the street is just what we both love the most. true rolling stones.
